Utilizing the Combat Landing

Little by little I have been picking through the trainers section of hitech creations' website, and one of the first trainings I read and internalized was the combat landing.

I found it interesting that it only took me a week+ of playing the game before I found myself in a situation where I had to actually use the combat landing.

Last night I scrambled up to defend an airfield under attack and found myself on the losing end of a dogfight. With the bogey zeroing in for the final blow I decided to put down and end sortie to save a death and chose a different plane. I used this landing technique and he finally knocked a wing off after I was already on the ground. I was able to end the sortie in one piece (me...not my plane ).

my landing consists of straight into the field at whatever direction i am heading...locate nearest fairly large piece of concrete...chop throttle and jink her up/down and rudder till under 150/ flaps/ gear when shes creaking (if not shot off and/or belly land that bad boy!!!)

works 90 percent of the time but times i may skid off into grass
